Hypnocontrol-birthing is an excellent method
to change the birthing experience from labor
to enjoyment. We eliminate the concept of
labor and change it to a concept of enjoyment
and love. In my office you would have 4 sessions,
up to six if needed.
During this time the first session (tape
1 side A) helps you relax and be able to
go into deep relaxation. Also this session
increases your confidence in your ability
to have an enjoyable childbirth and the confidence
in your caretaker, as well as an understanding
of childbirth. This session would also include
your Lamaze partner if you are practicing
Lamaze.
Session two (tape 1 side B) is designed to help you relax and induce
self hypnosis. Also continues to increase
your confidence and starts to help you induce
self hypnosis during birthing.
Session three (tape 2 side A) is the actual Hypnocontrol-birthing relaxation
session which would be used during the birth,
also giving you the ability to induce self
hypnosis.
Session four (tape 2 side B) is a relaxation session. This continue
to give you the ability for self hypnosis.
A you can see the main focus is relaxation,
self hypnosis, understanding of the birthing
process and complete confidence in the outcome,
in yourself, and your caretaker
This type of hypnosis is now used for painless
childbirth, and other medical/surgical procedures.
